Crosscheck of JVET-AH0075 (EE2-2.1: TIMD merge mode)
Abstract
This contribution reports the crosscheck results of JVET-AH0075 [1], which proposes a TIMD merge mode inheriting the TIMD modes from the previously TIMD coded blocks. Test 2.1a includes TIMD merge mode with one candidate, while Test 2.1b proposes TIMD merge mode with two candidates. The simulation results match with those provided in JVET-AH0075.
