Abstract
JVET-Q0120 proposed to remove loop_filter_across_slices_enabled_flag as alleged when similar control for the subpicture boundaries is in place, the flag usage is diminished. This contribution describes the usage of loop_filter_across_slices_enabled_flag to consolidate its usefulness.
