This contribution proposes to introduce Haar transform inside the multiple transform selection for the coding of the screen contents. It is motivated by the fact that the basis functions of Haar transform well matches the properties of the screen contents, where blocks with constant values and sharp edges frequently occurs. Specifically, the DCT8 transform is replaced by Haar transform. The proposal is tested with CTC for class F and TGM. For further analysis, CPR mode was also enabled to study the cross-effect between them. The experimental results show the average BD-rate saving as follows (AI%, RA%, and LDB%):
