Abstract
This contribution reports results of CE6-1.1e. In this contribution, a new set of MTS transforms are proposed. The MTS transforms of VTM3.0, i.e. DST-7 and DCT-8, are replaced by DST-4 and DCT-4 respectively. It is reported that the proposed change provides a simplification to the design of MTS, resulting in an average BD-rate luma loss of 0.23%, 0.16% and 0.04% in AI, RA and LDB configurations for CTC, respectively.
