JVET-K0409 AHG4: On the copyright of HLG test sequences [T. Suzuki (Sony), A. Ichigaya (NHK)] [late]

The test sequences that have been used in JVET as 4K HLG test sequences were proposed by JVET-E0086 and JVET-G0063, and the SunsetBeach, DayStreet and PeopleInShoppingCenter sequences are used in the CTC. The copyright information is attached to the test sequences at the ftp site. However, it was reportedly found that those sequences had been used for other purposes. The proponents would like to change the copyright information description. It was also requested for JVET, MPEG, and VCEG to notify their members of the copyright and usage restrictions of the test sequences. It was also asked to continue to manage the test sequences appropriately.
