This contribution proposes a block vector guided chain motion vector prediction(BVG-CMVP) candidates. In the process of deriving the merge candidate list, first construct a set of BV candidates, use these BVs as initial guide vectors to obtain BVG-CMVP, and insert them after the CMVP candidates.
