Abstract
In this contribution, one enhanced GPM is proposed based on the combination of EE2-3.3 on GPM with MMVD and EE2-3.4 and EE2-3.5 on GPM with template matching. Two encoder options are provided to trade-off the coding performance and encoding complexity. Compared to ECM-1.0 anchors, simulation results of the proposed combination are summarized as follows:
