AHG9: Modification of general constraints flags
Abstract
This contribution proposes to modify the syntax structure in general constraints flags that are proposed in JVET-Q0114 [1] documents. There are three flags, one_tile_per_pic_constraint_flag, one_slice_per_pic_constraint_flag and one_subpic_per_pic_constraint_flag, which adopted during the last meeting. Those flags are sequentially signalled in general constraints information syntax, but when multiple subpictures exist in a picture, i.e. one_subpic_per_pic_constraint_flag is equal to 0, one_slice_per_pic_constraint_flag shall be equal to 0 and can be omitted. This document therefore proposes simple changes of the syntax and semantics for clarification.
