A partial crosscheck of JVET-P0412 has been carried out. A bug in the original software was found and reported, specifically affecting RA. Therefore, in a first round, the AI/LDB/LDP configurations were tested, and for those the BDR figures are reported to match. An updated version of the software that worked also for RA was provided. For the updated software, the BDR figures are reported to match for RA. It is also reported that while the anchor uses SAO in about 50% of the frames, the proposed method uses SAO in about 20% of the frames.
