Abstract
This contribution proposes to handle deblocking filter for BDPCM block as follow:

The proposal suggests that there is a mismatch between the spec and the software regarding the behaviour for the BDPCM (independent derivation of Bs for BDPCM mode between the components in the spec, and dependent in the software).

Method 1. Align software with the specification.

Method 2. It is proposed to bypass the deblocking on the BDPCM side in the same way how it is done for Palette.

It was mentioned that the focus should be on 4:2:0.

This proposal is related to JVET-P0386.
