CE4-related: On definition of motion vector range for PROF and BDOF
Abstract
In the current WD6, the variables of motion vector range for PROF and BDOF is defined by the function of bit-depth. However, the range of motion vector is an independent parameter from bit-depth and the output of the function is a constant value when the bit-depth is 8 to 12 bits. Therefore, in this contribution, it is proposed to define those variable to the fixed values.
