This is cross-check report for JVET-N0392. The software package was provided by the proponent and was studied. The software changes seem consistent with the description in JVET-N0392. The changes were evaluated for 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 sequences for frame count listed in JVET-N0392, using encode configurations of JVET Common Test Condition (CTC) QPs for SDR video. All-Intra (AI), Random Access (RA) and Low Delay B (LDB) encoder configurations. It is reported that the R-D data generated by the crosschecker exactly matches that provided by the proponent for AI and LDB configuration (Note: As of writing of this report four data points of LDB are not available). For RA configuration there is a small difference in the 4th decimal place due to a difference in how average values were computed by proponent and crosschecker.
