This is cross-check report for JVET-N0426. The software package was provided by the proponent and was studied. The software changes seem consistent with the description in JVET-N0426. The changes were evaluated for JVET Common Test Condition (CTC) QPs for SDR video. All-Intra (AI) and Random Access (RA) encoder configurations. It is reported that the R-D data generated by the crosschecker exactly matches that provided by the proponent for AI configuration. For RA configuration there is a small difference in the 4th decimal place due to a difference in how average values were computed by proponent and crosschecker.
