CE3: Classification-based mean value for CCLM coefficients derivation (tests 2.5.1-2.5.4)
Abstract
This document proposes 4 CCLM-related tests (CE3-2.5.1 - CE3-2.5.4) that reportedly show the following overall results: -0.09% (Y), -0.44% (U), -0.47% (V) and -0.08% (Y), -0.31% (U), -0.39% (V) for test CE3-2.5.1 for AI and RA configurations, respectively; -0.18% (Y), -0.88% (U), -0.90% (V) and -0.11% (Y), - 0.74% (U), -0.84% (V) for test CE3-2.5.2 for AI and RA configurations, respectively; 0.05% (Y), 0.45% (U), 0.48% (V) and 0.02% (Y), 0.51% (U), 0.51% (V) for test CE3-2.5.3 for AI and RA configurations, respectively; -0.14% (Y), -0.51% (U), -0.51% (V) and -0.09% (Y), - 0.41% (U), -0.46% (V) for test CE3-2.5.4 for AI and RA configurations, respectively. For tests CE3-2.5.1-CE3-2.5.2, minor reduction of running time is observed at the decoder side for both AI and RA configurations. The encoding time for all the test is 100% for both AI and RA configurations.
