CE4-related: Affine model inheritance from single-line motion vectors
Abstract
Affine model inheritance in VTM-2.0 needs to access motion vectors from not-adjacent blocks, which requires additional line-buffers. In this contribution, affine model inheritance only needs to access motion vectors in a single line which is located above and left to the current block. Therefore, line-buffer size could be reduced. Simulation results reportedly show 0.xx% and 0.xx% BD-rate changing under Random Access (RA) and Low-delay B (LB) configurations, respectively.
