CE3 : CCLM with line buffer restriction (Test 5.2.7)
Abstract
This contribution reports the experimental results of CCLM line buffer restriction, which is test 5.2.7 of CE3. This technology restricts the line buffer increasing at the upper CTU boundary in the CCLM prediction. Experimental results for CE3-5.2.7 reportedly show 0.01%, 0.01%, 0.04% BD-rate increases and 0.01%, 0.08%, 0.02% BD-rate increases for Y, Cb, and Cr components respectively, compared to VTM-AI and VTM-RA configurations.
