CE13: Parallel-to-Axis Uniform cubemap projection (PAU) in JVET-J0033 (Test 7)

Abstract
This contribution reports the results of CE13 [1] for Test 7 (Parallel-to-axis uniform cubemap projection (PAU) without padding and PAU with padding). Test results show that PAU without padding yields -11.65% (VTM) and -11.50% (BMS) in BD-rate (using end-to-end Y-WS-PSNR) reduction on average in comparison to PERP in VTM and BMS respectively. For PAU padding case, the coding performance are -11.58% (VTM) and -11.41% (BMS) compared with PERP in VTM and BMS respectively.
