This contribution proposes a technique to avoid a large transform usage. The techniques are studied in CE1 (SubCE6.2). This contribution reports the test results as follow the test condition of CE1. With the Benchmark set (BMS) tools as reference, simulation results reportedly show that the proposed technique achieves 0.00%, 0.16% and -0.03% BD-rate, 101%, 97%, 97% encoding time, 99%, 99% and 101% decoding time for all intra (AI), random access (RA) and low delay B (LB) configurations respectively. Without BMS tool, simulation results reportedly show that the proposed technique achieves 0.00%, 0.08% and 0.06% BD-rate, 101%, 98%, 95% encoding time, 99%, 98% and 101% decoding time for AI, RA and LB.
