Ultra High Resolution (UHR) 360 Video
Abstract
This contribution provides UHR 360 video sequences at 8k x 4k and 14K x 7k horizontal resolution for the Future Video Coding Standardization activity. 360 video content is rapidly gaining in popularity and since it is a natural progression of linear perspective video, it is hoped that a future video codec will assist with the delivery of the proposed increased quality of 360 imagery as captured by Professional grade cinema and TV camera arrays.
