This contribution proposes a unified signaling framework for spherical harmonic (SH) transforms in the Gaussian Splatting Information (GSI) SEI message. A new syntax element, gsi_sh_transform_idc, is introduced to replace the existing separate signaling of SH color conversion and adaptive SH transforms. The proposed approach simplifies SH transform signaling, improves consistency, and eliminates potential overlap between fixed and adaptive transform signaling.
