EE1-4.4: Integrating End-to-End Learned Intra-Frame Codec with Conventional Codec

Abstract
This contribution reports results for the test EE1-4.4 on integrating our end-to-end learned intra-frame codec (NLIC) into conventional codec with single-layer framework enabling switching mechanism. In particular, it is reported that the single layer framework is implemented on top of NNVC-16.0 which also includes the multi-layer framework. Reported average PSNR BD-rates are as follows:
