JVET-AO0167 AHG9: Proposed Localization and Mapping SEI message for version 5 of VSEI [L. Kerofsky, Y. He, S. Zhao, M. Karczewicz (Qualcomm), G. Teniou (Tencent)]

This contribution proposes adding the localization and mapping (LAM) SEI message into the working draft of Version 5 of VSEI. The LAM SEI message is meant to be available for HEVC and VVC.

Discussion in plenary was requested about the timing of a WD for a new version of VSEI v5. This will also likely involve parent body discussion.

No software was currently available for the LAM SEI message.
