Crosscheck of JVET-AN0164 (Non-EE2: ALF coefficient coding group extension)
Abstract
The contribution reports the results of crosscheck of JVET-AN0164 "Non-EE2: ALF coefficient coding group extension" proposed by Nokia. In JVET-AN0164 authors proposed a method of ALF coefficients coding. In ECM, ALF coefficients are split into 2 groups and different Huffman code families are used for coding of coefficients from different groups. In the proposed method, the coefficients are split into 3 groups.
