The contribution reports the results of the crosscheck for JVET-AM0229 Test 1.3 which proposes tailoring each sub-mode of Intra Template Matching Prediction (ITMP) to the type(s) of template of the candidate reconstructed block(s) involved in this sub-mode. The type of template of a candidate reconstructed block involved in a ITMP sub-mode indicates whether this candidate reconstructed block results from the ITMP search via “top-only” template matching or “left-only” template matching or “full” template matching. The crosschecking is conducted on top of ECM-17.0. It is confirmed that the crosscheck results are matched with those provided by the proponent.
