AHG9: Showcase on the implementation of display overlays information SEI
Abstract
This contribution showcases how display overlays information SEI message can be utilized in a real-world type of scenarios. The contribution comes with an implementation and a test sequence enabling to test it. It applies to broadcast type of applications where some graphics overlays are added by the TV channel. Furthermore, it is demonstrated how such SEI can enable some degree of customization, enabling a receiving client to adapt the service to viewer’s language.
