Cross-check of JVET-AI0139: Non-EE2: Modified L-shape template in IntraTMP
Abstract
This contribution reports the cross-check of contribution JVET-AI0139. Contribution JVET-AI0139 proposes to simplify the L-shape region used in Intra Template Matching in ECM, for the computation of SAD, MR-SAD and FLM parameters. That is, top-left samples are excluded from these computations.
