In ECM-13.0, for each picture, adaptive loop filter (ALF) control information is signalled at both picture and CTB levels. In this contribution, reuse of ALF control information is proposed. For each picture, when ALF is enabled, a flag is signalled to indicate whether ALF control information reuses the information from a previously encoded picture. On top of ECM-13.0 with common test conditions, simulation results of the proposed method are reported below:
