In April 2024 JVET meeting, contribution JVET-AH0142 suggested to update the HDR Common Test Condition test sequences with newer HDR material. 6 HDR 4K PQ content have been proposed as possible candidates. It was nevertheless commented that HDR test material selection should carefully consider characteristics such as colour gamut coverage, maximum and average light level.
