In addition to IntraTMP and IBC, the BV-based prediction is also used in DIMD and SGPM in ECM-13. The EE2-2.2 test further proposes using the BV-based prediction for TIMD. For all these modes, the BV list is generated from all the spatial merge candidates that contain BVs. In contrast to other modes, IntraTMP merge BVs are refined on 11x11 window. This contribution proposes a unified process for generating the BV merge list, including a clustering and refinement process for all merge BVs.
