This contribution reports a mismatch between the encoding and decoding reconstruction in the NNVC reference software when low complexity operation point (LOP) neural network-based loop filter [1] and palette mode are enabled at the same time and proposes a fix accordingly. This contribution compares the performance of the fix against the NNVC anchor with LOP and palette tools enabled.
