In this contribution, it is proposed to add such new candidates to the TMRL list, where intra prediction modes are determined using the DIMD process applied to the reference area around a corresponding reference line. In addition, the list of TMRL candidates is reordered so that the candidates, which result in similar predictors, are placed at the bottom of this list. On top of ECM-13.0, the following BD-rate gain results are reportedly obtained {Y/U/V}: {-0.%, 0.%, -0.%} for AI configuration.
