This contribution proposes disabling the TIMD-related combinations (TIMD-ISP and TIMD-MRL). Test1 involves disabling the combination of TIMD and ISP (TIMD-ISP) and the combination of TIMD and MRL (TIMD-MRL) in the current ECM (13.0). This change eliminates ineffective combinations which can reduce encoding time by decreasing the number of RDOs. Test2 builds upon Test1 by replacing the reduced RDOs with other intra modes to achieve gains without increasing EncT.
