This contribution reports the crosscheck results of JVET-AH0209 [1], which proposes a matrix based intra prediction replacing some directional intra modes, where the weights are intra mode and block shape dependent and the weights are applied to L shaped causal template to generate final prediction. The simulation results match with those provided in JVET-AH0209.
