In the last meeting, a unified software package for generative face video coding (GFVC) was made available as the AhG16 software and the gerative face video (GFV) SEI message was adopted in the draft of technologies under consideration (TuC) for futher extensions of VSEI. In this contribution, the GFV SEI message is implemented on top of VTM software and the experiments using the GFV SEI message to signal facial parameters was conducted. It is reported that for higher resolution face videos, the current GFV SEI message solution shows the coding performance benetifs over VVC codec.
