This is the crosscheck of JVET-0155 (AHG12: Restricting BT CUs to apply QT-like partitioning structure). JVET-0155 proposes a restriction on BT CUs to avoid QT-like partitioning structure when QT split is allowed for such CUs that is claimed to reduce encoding runtime for ECM.
