[AHG9] On Neural Network Post Filter Patch Size
Abstract
This document is a follow-up to JVET-AC0062 Proposal 1. It is proposed to signal syntax elements nnpfc_patch_width_minus1 and nnpfc_patch_height_minus1 only when nnpfc_constant_patch_size is equal to 1 and to signal two different syntax elements (nnpfc_extended_patch_width_cd_delta_minus1 and nnpfc_extended_patch_height_cd_delta_minus1) when nnpfc_constant_patch_size is equal to 0. Accordingly, the semantics are changed, to clarify that, when nnpfc_constant_patch_size is equal to 0, the requirement is that the width and height of an extended patch (i.e., a patch plus the overlapping area), not that of a patch, shall be a positive integer multiple of a horizontal and vertical common divisor, respectively. Additionally, it is proposed to move the syntax element nnpfc_overlap up.
