This contribution reports the simulation results of EE2 Test 1.7. In Test 1.7, a non-linear term of the down-sampled reconstructed luma value is introduced into the CCLM method and the model parameters are derived by the adjacent samples based on the LDL decomposition method used in CCCM. In Test 1.7a, the original CCLM method is replaced by the proposed non-linear model method. In Test 1.7b, the proposed non-linear method is signaled as an additional mode. In Test 1.7c, based on Test 1.7b, the CCCM parameter derivation method is used for the proposed non-linear model, that is six rows and columns adjacent samples are used.
